Snorely is a free snoring recorder and sleep-noise tracker for Android. The user taps "Track My Sleep" before bed and places the phone next to them; the app listens through the microphone all night, detects snoring episodes using an on-device sound heuristic (loudness plus low-frequency energy), and saves a short audio clip of the loudest snoring moments. In the morning it shows a "Snore Score" (0-100, lower is better), a timeline of the night, a breakdown (snore frequency, average intensity, total snoring minutes, percentage of the night), and playable snore clips. There is also a History tab with a trend chart across nights, and a Remedies tab where the user ticks off things they tried (sleep on your side, raise your pillow, no alcohol before bed, nasal strips, drink water, track weight) so they can compare against their scores. MONETIZATION: none at all. The app is completely free. There are NO subscriptions, NO in-app purchases, NO ads, and no paid tiers or premium features. Everything in the app is available to everyone. ACCOUNTS: none. There is no sign-up, no login, no user account, no email collection. PERMISSIONS: RECORD_AUDIO (microphone) is the only sensitive permission, used solely to listen for snoring while a recording session is active. MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS is used for audio capture setup. The app deliberately does NOT declare the INTERNET permission, so it is technically incapable of sending anything off the device. The app is a wellness/lifestyle tool. It is explicitly NOT a medical device, does not diagnose any condition (including sleep apnea), and snore detection is an acoustic estimate that can be wrong. Users worried about their snoring are told to consult a doctor.
